Grit Petzholdt-Gühne is the New Head of Human Re-sources at Analytik Jena AG
Jena, June 24, 2013 – The former head of Human Resources at SCHOTT in Jena, Grit Petzholdt-Gühne, will now be in charge of HR at Analytik Jena AG and its subsidiaries. Petzholdt-Gühne, who reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer Klaus Berka, is replacing Franziska Buchholz who, after having managed the HR affairs of the Jena-based manufacturer of analytical measuring technology for nearly 20 years, is now retiring. Analytik Jena employs about 970 employees in the Group.
After completing her studies at the Martin Luther University in Halle/Saale, Grit Petzholdt-Gühne began her career in 1991 in the HR department of Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke AG, first as an HR officer and then as the head of HR starting in 1995. In 1999, she joined New Venture Gear GmbH, a subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler AG, as HR director. From 2004 to 2013, the Dresden native worked at SCHOTT AG in Jena as head of HR and was responsible for all HR matters at the SCHOTT companies based in Jena, as well as for the global affairs of the solar business unit for several years.
“With Grit Petzholdt-Gühne, we have brought an experienced HR manager on board, who will continue to develop our most important resource and advance Analytik Jena’s sustainable HR policy in the future,” said Klaus Berka. “We at Analytik Jena are dealing more with increasing competition for well-qualified, international workers. To do this, we need a lot of expertise in acquiring employees and creating jobs with real-life applications. I look forward to our future work together.”
