Analytik Jena AG Expanding its Presence in India
Jena, Germany/ New Delhi, India, April 22, 2016 — Analytik Jena AG has announced the establishment of a new demo and service center in India, with plans to expand it into an applications laboratory as well. A year after the founding of AJ Instruments India Pvt. Ltd. as a full subsidiary of Analytik Jena AG, this will lay the foundations for an expanded infrastructure to support the company’s business operations in the country.
As of January 2016, Analytik Jena’s Indian operations have moved to new and improved office facilities both at its national business headquarters in New Delhi and at locations in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata. The company also has plans to enhance its facilities in Vadodhara and Bangalore in the near future.
The new demo and service center features individual laboratories for ICP MS/OES, atomic, and molecular spectroscopy, as well as sum parameter test and elemental analysis, and is to showcase all of the company’s major products for demonstration. A wet chemistry lab will also be on location to support application development and testing.
The company will commemorate the opening of the new office and center with a half-day celebration in Delhi on April 22.
AJ Instruments India Pvt. Ltd. was created to solidify Analytik Jena’s 15-year relationship with its customers in the country and pave the way for future customers as well. The company’s presence in India came about through several partnerships with Indian companies. The formation of its own subsidiary in India is meant to improve the company’s ability to transfer its global competence to the markets of the area and to provide them with its measurement excellence and support. With the recently announced acquisition of the Bruker Corporation’s ICP-MS segment, Analytik Jena has strengthened its position on the elemental spectroscopy market while also retaining its strong portfolio on the elemental analysis market.
