Biometra Launches TProfessional TRIO with the Newest Thermocycler Technology

Goettingen/Jena (Germany), September 27, 2011 ? Biometra GmbH, a Company of Analytik Jena Group, launched TProfessional TRIO at BIOTECHNICA 2011, the leading international trade show for biotechnology.

The TProfessional TRIO continues the tradition of Biometras unique and highly successful triple block concept and combines the newest thermocycler technology with functional and space saving design. The three independent blocks and heated lids allow the run of three different PCR protocols simultaneously. Furthermore, the instrument is equipped with the latest high performance peltier elements and provides superior heating and cooling rates.

In combination with the capacity to incubate up to 144 samples the instrument fulfils all wishes with regards to speed, flexibility and sample throughput. The newly designed, clearly structured user interface, the crystal clear large graphical display and the user-friendly software also contribute to the modern appearance of the TRIO thermocycler. The software offers the comfort to select between easy spreadsheet and graphical programming and new functions like the temperature optimisation step (TOS), the simultaneous start and stop of programs on all three blocks and the easy transfer of protocols by the USB interface.
