Analytik Jena Once Again Awarded as Family-friendly Company

Manufacturers of analytical measuring technology recertified with the “Jena Family Seal 2014”, an initiative from the Jena Alliance for the Family

Jena, Germany, November 26, 2014 – Analytik Jena AG was awarded this year’s “Jena Family Seal” yesterday evening and was therefore honored again after 2012 for its family-friendly and socially-orientated corporate policy. The seal is awarded every two years on the initiative of the Jena Alliance for the Family and the Society for the Promotion of A Family-Friendly Jena.

“We want our employees to enjoy working for us. This can only be achieved with employment models that make it possible to balance various lifestyles and individual needs. We interpret this task as a strategic investment in our most valuable resource,” said Klaus Berka, Chief Executive Officer at Analytik Jena AG.

Analytik Jena AG has offered its employees a number of beneficial conditions to help them harmonize having a career and a family. For example, during the child-rearing stage, it is possible when suitable to make flexible part-time and telecommuting arrangements. In addition, employees can send their children to the cooperative daycare center located at the Group’s headquarters in Jena. Analytik Jena supports the children of employees when they have finished schooling through vacation jobs, internships, or specific training offers. Expecting parents receive comprehensive advising and the needs of aging employees are given increasing consideration. With targeted measures for workplace safety and health, such as regular information and prevention activities, and therapy programs in case of psychosocial problems like stress, Analytik Jena provides comprehensive support, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for its employees.
