Analytik Jena Cooperates with New Sales Partner in Austria and Hungary

Jena, August 30, 2010 — Analytik Jena AG is now represented in the Life Science growth segment on the Austrian and Hungarian markets. With its new sales partner Bartelt Labor- und Datentechnik, both countries will be henceforth developed as sales regions in the field of molecular diagnostics. The dealer agreement on Analytik Jena and Biometra products was concluded for the upcoming 2010/2011 financial year with a sales target of EUR 150 thousand. Shortly after the agreement was signed, first orders were taken.

In developing a broad dealer structure, we want to establish this success model in the Life Science segment too."

Bartelt is an independent family-run company headquartered in Graz, with sales offices in Vienna, Linz, Innsbruck and Budapest. In the five business units of Laboratory Technology, Chemicals, Service, Glassblowing, Process Technology and Data Processing, the sales partner covers virtually all requirements that modern laboratories and laboratory-related fields have from their partners.

Analytik Jena generated sales of EUR 20.3 m in the Life Science field after nine months, thus continuing its positive development.
